We hope you love what we’ve created as much as we do!

About Us

After months spent searching for the right place to begin our new family adventure we found, and immediately fell in love with, the Wye Valley. We moved here in August 2018 and began building our small glamping site.

Gerry has designed and built our unique accommodations and has built or renovated our communal areas using reclaimed materials and upcycling whenever possible. Abi takes care of all the admin to make sure everything runs smoothly and can often be found in the veggie garden.

Loving nature at Cadora

Woods Glamping

We are passionate about the natural environment. We harvest our rain water, have installed solar panels and use only environmentally friendly products in our kitchen and bathroom. We grow our own fruit and vegetables and our lovely free range hens provide us with fresh eggs each day.

To encourage wildlife we have bird feeders and tables, bug hotels and have planted lots of new hedges and flowers. Nature rewards us daily – wild deer and hares like to pop by along with an astonishing array of birds, including beautiful red kites, and the very rare lesser horseshoe bat.

We are fortunate to be a Dark Sky Destination so on a clear summer’s night the sky glows with the Milky Way and a myriad of constellations – and maybe a shooting star or two.
